Castle Vale Credit Union was established in September 1998 to provide savings and loans for all those who live or work on the Castle Vale estate. It now has a membership of over 350 adult members and over 250 junior savers. The Credit Union's main collection points are at St Gerards Club and the Tenants and Residents Alliance office in Tangmere Square. It also provides a school bank service at three primary schools on the estate: St Gerards, Chivenor and Pegasus schools.
